CEEWA Uganda has an elected board of directors. The supreme policy making organ is the Annual General Assembly.
Other women professionals from other disciplines can apply to become members.
The membership of CEEWA-U is open to the following:
Ordinary members who are women professionals with background in economics, agriculture, banking, gender and other related background and who are committed to the economic empowerment of women in Uganda or for the enhancement of women's participation in the development of economic policies and programs. Founder members who appear in the member's register at the completion of the registration process of CEEWA-Uganda. Associate members who are women professionals from other disciplines other than those mentioned above, who are working for the economic empowerment of women in Uganda or for the enhancement of women's participation in the development of economic policies and programs. Affiliate members who are organizations with similar objectives to CEEWA-Uganda Honorary members which is open to individuals who would have rendered a great service or secured a benefit to CEEWA-Uganda by either rendering advisory Services, securing financial assistance in the form of endowments, gifts, or donations as well as those individuals whose membership would be beneficial to CEEWA-Uganda.Membership to CEEWA-Uganda is by application and invitation and is subject to approval of the Board on behalf of the General Assembly, which is the Supreme policy making organ.
